In the Woodshop

So, at long last, I’m really stoked to share with you a link to our handcrafted furniture website:

Take a look at our portfolio to see our Fall collection and see what we’ve been up to in the woodshop.

PLUS if you’re in New York, please come visit us at the Brooklyn Flea this weekend – we’ll be there with quite a few pieces of our new furniture collection as well as wooden gifts and such for sale (might as well get ahead on holiday gifts…).

I’ve hinted at the work we’ve been up to in the woodshop these past months, and we’re really pleased with what we’ve created so far. Each piece is uniquely designed and made from solid wood (most of which was milled and dried here at the farm).

Unfortunately, we haven’t even had a chance to photograph everything yet – we have some new pieces designed for city living (informed by years of apartment challenges…) that we’ll be pleased to have on hand at the Brooklyn Flea.  A sleek kitchen island, a solid walnut media console, and a new red oak dining table with bench.

The ChairIn the coming months, we’ll have many more furniture pieces to share, so stay tuned!

Meanwhile, we’re also plugging away in the garden, preparing for winter and hoping that our brussels sprouts produce before long.

These last few weeks we’ve been surviving on sweet potatoes, potatoes, butternut squash, green beans and peppers.  Though I wouldn’t believe back in April that I’d ever say it again….I can’t wait for the kale!
